Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Praevia Studio ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit praeviastudio.com ("the Site"). Our Journal at blog.praeviastudio.com is a separate site with its own Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and newsletter forms. If you submit the form on the Site, we receive the information you type in, such as your email address. We use it only to reply to you or to send the Journal by email.
- Emails. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
- Log and device data. Like most websites, our hosting and security services may record your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them to run the Site and to show advertising (see sections 3 and 4).
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay and the country or city they visit from. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information, and we use the results in aggregate to improve the Site. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. To learn how Google handles this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site.
- To respond to messages and send the Journal to people who subscribe.
- To understand which content is useful to visitors.
- To show advertising that helps support the Site.
- To protect the Site against spam, abuse and security problems.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to the Site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, ads and cookies are shown according to the choices you make in the consent notice that appears when you visit.
4. Cookies and how to control them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Site may not work as expected, and you may still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
5. Third-party services we use
The Site relies on services that may process some of your data under their own privacy policies:
- Netlify, which hosts the Site and handles form submissions.
- Cloudflare, which provides domain, security and performance services.

- Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used on the Site.
- Google AdSense, for advertising (section 3).
6. External links
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
7. How long we keep information
We keep messages and subscriber emails only as long as needed for the purpose they were given, or until you ask us to delete them. Log data is kept by our hosting services according to their own policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, or to object to certain uses.
